Jeremy Lin, who spent nine seasons in the NBA between 2010 and 2019 and won the championship with the Raptors, has returned to China and the Beijing Ducks where he will finish the 2021-22 season.
“I finally come back. Playing basketball in China feels at home. Thanks to all fans for the support, and I am looking forward to the second and third phase of this season,” Lin said, per Xinhua News Agency.
Lin played in the G League this season, logging nine games for the Santa Cruz Warriors with impressive displays but didn’t get a chance in the NBA.
In his 39 appearances for Beijing Ducks in the 2019-20 CBA season, Lin averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.8 steals in about 33 minutes, leading the team to the top four.
