Matt Thomas becomes the fourth Chicago Bulls player to test positive for COVID-19

Matt Thomas has entered the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols, according to Shams Charania, and is expected to miss several games.

Thomas is the most recent coronavirus positive among the Bulls but far from it that he’s alone. In recent days, three other players tested positive as well – DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, Javonte Green.

Additionally, the Bulls haven’t been the only team with a small breakout of positives among the rosters. Charlotte Hornets also registered four positives during the past week.

Players who enter the protocols have to produce two negative tests for coronavirus in a 24-hour span or be isolated for at least ten days, in order to be cleared for action.
