The Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated a big win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday and Cedi Osman – the Cavs‘ leading scorer with 23 points – had every reason to rejoice in this win.
Osman shared his thoughts on Ricky Rubio and highlighted their connection to the Bally Sports Cleveland after the game.
“We just have great chemistry with him [Ricky Rubio]. I remember him saying “we have a secret”, so we’re just going to keep it like that” Osman said in all smiles. “He’s a great point guard. It’s always great to play with him. Whenever you are wide open, he will find you. We just have to run the floor and he will give over the ball”.
Osman’s remarks resonate in the win against the Bucks, as Rubio handed out 10 assists while scoring 15 points.
The Euro-ball connection between the two Cavs players runs strong. Rubio praised his teammate a few weeks prior about his contribution to the team.
“We are really good friends. We are from Europe. And we have our secrets,” Rubio commented. “He’s a player who can shoot the ball. I like playing with that type of player because I know how to find them. He moves well off the ball.”
The Cavs are currently third in the Eastern Conference, holding on to a 19-12 overall record.
