Franz Wagner has been on a great rookie run – averaging 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists – this season before facing the Milwaukee Bucks and, although the Orlando Magic lost, the German guard put on one of the best rookie performances ever.
Wagner went for 38 points on 12-20 shooting including 4-8 from deep while adding seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 38 minutes.
He faced off against the reigning champs for whom Giannis Antetokounmpo logged 28 points, six rebounds, six assists.
