Greek guard Georgios Kalaitzakis has a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, according to Eurohoops reports.

Kalaitzakis, 22, was recently waived by the Milwaukee Bucks, after averaging 1.8 points in 5.3 minutes across limited games in the current season.

Kalaitzakis was selected with the 60th overall pick of the 2021 draft by the Bucks, and he signed a three-year non-guaranteed contract with the reigning champions.

He is expected to be assigned to Oklahoma’s G-League department, Oklahoma City Blue, but to also get time on the court with the Thunder, especially with COVID-19 protocols plaguing the NBA.
