Zion Williamson has been sidelined for the whole season and it will most likely remain that way regardless of the New Orleans Pelicans squad and its final standing and results.
Zion was supposed to return to the court back in December 2021 but his condition regressed and the big went back to the recovery process that is still ongoing.
He has recently been cleared for basketball activities but aside from some light workouts, Zion wasn’t able to make significant steps towards his return this season.
That said, although the player was fairly quiet throughout his recovery, the atmosphere changed with one gesture. Zion posted a video via Instagram, throwing the ball off the backboard, catching it and going between his legs before finishing with a left-handed slam.
