Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton will miss at least two weeks of action – the remainder of the first round of the NBA playoffs – after he suffered an injury in his left knee during Game 2 against the Chicago Bulls Wednesday.

The three-time All-Star had an MRI scan Thursday which confirmed a sprained medial collateral ligament. Middleton exited late in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game after slipping on the court. He had 18 points and 8 assists prior to his exit. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Middleton could potentially miss more than just two weeks, but he’s set to be re-evaluated at that timeframe.

Middleton has been posting an average of 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in the 2021-22 season, while he was a key piece of the rotation in Bucks‘ championship run last season.

The reigning champs face the Bulls again on the road Friday for Game 3, looking to take a lead in their tied series.
