Ja Morant missed at the buzzer and the Warriors started the Western Conference semifals with a road win

Golden State Warriors‘ opening game against the Memphis Grizzlies in their Western Conference semifinal series ended up with a road win for Steph Curry and co.
Thanks to a three by Klay Thompson with 36 seconds left, the Warriors got the break.

Ja Morant couldn’t score in the remaining time after getting blocked by Steph Curry and then missing at the buzzer.

Jordan Poole with 31 points was the top scorer of the winning side, having a personal best in the playoffs plus nine assists and eight rebounds. Curry added 24 points, Andrew Wiggins had 17 and Thompson 15.

Morant just missed the triple double with 34 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds, while his teammate in the losing side Jaren Jackson jr added 33 points and 10 rebounds.

Draymond Green was ejected with less than two minutes left in the first half of the game.

As Memphis forward Brandon Clarke went up for a dunk with 1:18 left in the second quarter, Green initially made contact with Clarke’s head as Green swiped down, grabbing the collar of Clarke’s jersey in the process.
