Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo took over the show in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semis and it was the Boston Celtics to come out on top with a 108-95 road win, forcing Game 7 that will decide the victor of the series.

Tatum banked in 46 points while adding nine rebounds and four assists and received help from Jaylen Brown who scored 22 and Marcus Smart who scored 21 points while dishing seven assists.

Boston’s crucial run happened at the end of the first half (53-43) and they managed to keep the distance all the way through the second part of the game, leading by as much as 14 points (84-70).

Milwaukee did make a comeback run multiple times and cut the deficit to four points (87-83) but the Celtics always had an answer ready with mini runs that kept them ahead.

Giannis showcased everything he had on the court and finished with an amazing 44-points, 20-rebounds double-double while also dishing six assists. His backup wasn’t on point though as Jrue Holiday scored 17 and Patt Connaughton 14 points but nobody else went over six points.

This loss puts Milwaukee in quite a disadvantageous position as Game 7 moves to Boston and the Celtics will have the home crowd energy to count on. Though Milwaukee did show their championship pedigree and that they can handle the atmosphere.
