Serbian wing Nikola Jovic has been invited to the Green room of the 2022 NBA Draft, the league announced. He’s the second European player who will be in the Green room during the Draft night along with Italian-American forward Paolo Banchero.

24 players young players will overall attend the Green room at Barclays Center, Brooklyn where the Draft ceremony will be held. Jovic has been projected to be a mid to late first-round pick and it’s expected he’ll be selected from 15th to 25th overall.

Jovic had a workout for the Denver Nuggets and could become a teammate of star center Nikola Jokic if the team selects him with the 21st pick they own.

In 2021-22, Jovic averaged 11.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in ABA League with Mega Mozzart.

He is the only player coming from Europe who is considered a lock in the first round of the 2022 NBA draft and the Green room invitation practically seals the deal.
