Frutti Extra Bursaspor head coach Dusan Alimpijevic led his team to this year’s 7DAYS EuroCup Final and through a successful journey in 2021-22, he attracted the interest of the San Antonio Spurs.
According to Eurohoops sources, the Serbian coach will join the Spurs‘ coaching staff in the upcoming NBA Summer League, from July 7 to 17 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Despite his young age, coach Alimpijevic, who has significant experience, previously served on the Dallas Mavericks technical staff in the 2018 NBA Summer League.
The 36-year-old coach, who started his professional head coaching career in 2013 with Vojvodina Srbijagas, has previously coached Crvena Zvezda in EuroLeague, as well as FMP in Serbia and Avtodor in the VTB United League.
