During Sunday’s NBA Night, Domantas Sabonis was decisive in Sacramento’s 110-101 win against the Chicago Bulls.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers player registered his first triple-double with the Californian franchise with 11 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists. It’s the 20th triple-double of his NBA career.

The most important thing is getting the win. We’re trying to change this franchise around, everybody wants to give a contribution”, he said after the victory.

This was a back-to-back game, after Sacramento’s 123-96 win against the Clippers in which Sabonis had 24 points. “I don’t really believe in resting. That’s what we’re paid for as professional athletes and to perform. But, yeah, the West is packed. If other teams want to rest players, it’s to our advantage to go out there and take that win”, he added.

The Lithuanian big is averaging 17 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 6.4 assists, shooting 60.1% from the field, leading the Sacramento Kings to the 5th place in the Western Conference with a 13-9 record.
