During the 125-111 loss by the Sacramento Kings against the Washington Wizards, Domantas Sabonis suffered an avulsion fracture of the ulnar collateral ligament of the right thumb.

Despite the injury, he will be listed as questionable for the upcoming Sacramento home game against the Denver Nuggets, indicating that he may try to play.

The former Indiana Pacers Lithuanian All-Star has probably been the best player on Mike Brown’s team, averaging 17.9 points, a league-leading 12.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in the 2022-23 NBA Regular Season.

The Sacramento Kings are currently 6th in the Western Conference, and they haven’t made the playoffs since the 2005-06 season, the NBA’s longest postseason drought.
