During the trade deadline, Dario Saric left the Phoenix Suns after three seasons and joined the Oklahoma City Thunder. Talking after his first session with his new team to the press, he commented on this move.
“You’re always surprised. That’s kind of how things go. At the end of the day, happy to be here. Happy to be part of this organization, a part of this group of young, talented guys who have a lot of years in front of them to play basketball. Being there and playing with them is amazing for me”, he said.
“It’s different than what I experienced in Phoenix, but I’m kinda figuring out how to be part of the group. I think I will go with the flow. We’re gonna figure out everything, how the games go. I’m here open-minded, and the coach says he’s open-minded”, Dario Saric added on how to be involved in the team.
The former Anadolu Efes power forward was averaging 5.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists with the Phoenix Suns in the 2022-23 NBA Regular Season. The Thunder are 10th in the West with a 27-28 record.
