Philadelphia 76ers saw firsthand how big the offensive potential of the Dallas Mavericks is with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, as they combined for 82 points in a 133-126 win.

Doncic was a few steps in front of his new teammate with 42 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds.

It was Luka’s sixth 40 points and ten assist game this season, as only Nikola Jokic has three, and Damian Lillard has two games like that. Nobody else has more than 1.

Irving scored 40 points, as he and Doncic became the first Mavs teammates with 40+ points in the same game. No other teammate of Doncic scored this many points playing alongside him.

“If I had to pay to watch someone play, it would be him for sure,” Doncic said of his fellow All-Star starter, “Because some of those moves are incredible.”

Doncic won a matchup of the NBA’s top two scorers as Joel Embiid finished with 35 points for the 76ers.

Washington Wizards defeated Toronto Raptors 119-108, with European players having essential roles on both sides.

Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points with five rebounds for the winning team, with Deni Avdija adding six points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

OG Annunoby’s 26 points and Jakob Poeltl’s double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds weren’t enough for the Raptors at the US capital.

San Antonio Spurs grabbed their second straight win, as Jeremy Sochan led the way to a 110-99 victory against Indiana Pacers.

The Polish international got a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

NBA results:
