The Denver Nuggets ended the NBA Regular Season on top of the Western Conference with a 53-29 record, and they are ready to jump into the playoffs, where they will face the winner of the Play-In clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After winning the MVP in back-to-back fashion, Nikola Jokic contributed to the Nuggets‘ successful regular season, but he has now been dealing with a calf injury that could give him some problems down the line.

Talking about his condition, the 28-year-old minimized the issue. “Doing good, going good. I mean, it’s there. But it’s sometimes good and sometimes bad”, he said of his calf tightness before talking about his wrist being taped up. “Yeah, a little bit, just trying to prevent problems. Little bumps and bruises”, he added.

Nikola Jokic, who has been averaging 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game, and who’s currently in the race for the MVP with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embidd, then addressed whoever will be Denver’s opponent in the playoffs. “I think they both fit really well against us. Every game, it was a tough one and a close one. So we will see”, he finally commented.
