According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers have fully guaranteed forward Cedi Osman’s $6.7 million contract for the 2023-2024 season.

Osman joined the Cavs in 2017 and has averaged 9.7 points, three rebounds, and two assists in his six NBA seasons in Ohio.

He signed a new four-year contract in 2020 worth $31,118,844, and despite posting his lowest numbers last season (aside from his rookie year), Cleveland has decided to secure him for the final season of the deal.

Osman played the most games in the regular season with 77, averaging 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

Before going to the NBA, Osman spent six years under contract with Anadolu Efes, playing for two seasons on loan at Partizan. He won the Turkish Cup and Supercup in 2015 with the Istanbul team.

He is also a regular member of the Turkish national team and has won two gold medals playing for the youth selections at the U18 and U20 European Championships in 2013 and 2014.
