The Detroit Pistons have officially announced the signing of French prospect Malcolm Cazalon to a two-way deal.

Cazalon, who played for Mega MIS in Serbia and the ABA League, caught the attention of the Pistons despite going undrafted. He will represent the team in the upcoming Summer League.

The 21-year-old began his professional career in 2018 with JL Bourg and had a loan spell with Leuven Bears in Belgium before joining Mega in 2020. In the last season, he averaged 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in the ABA League.

Cazalon will join another talented Frenchman, Killian Hayes, in Detroit. Together, they previously won a silver medal with Team France at the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup in Argentina.
