During the NBA Night, Victor Wembanyama dragged the San Antonio Spurs to the impressive 132-121 win over the Phoenix Suns, which could now count on Devin Booker, who returned to the court ready to make a statement, providing a performance of 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Trying to stop the 27-year-old star, Jeremy Sochan accepted the challenge. “I’m here for that. Just be close to him. He’s a really good player so just trying to stay with him and make shots really hard or him”, he commented in the post-game press conference after ending with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Then, the 20-year-old talked about the second straight San Antonio Spurs victory against Phoenix Suns, when asked if it’s the best all-around victory of his team. “Yes, it’s 5 games in. I would say so, again. Brand new position. I’ve never played point guard so it’s going to be all over the place. It’s going to be a roller coaster. I’m just here to grow and learn”, he answered by mentioning his new role on Gregg Popovich’s team.

The Polish player, who spent his first and last college season with the Baylor Bears in 2021-22, has been averaging 9.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game since the start of this year’s NBA Regular Season alongside Victor Wembanyama.
