Philadelphia 76ers record fourth straight win, with Embiid playing three quarters

After losing to Milwaukee Bucks at the opening of 2023/24 season, Philadelphia 76ers keeps notching wins, with the latest team to fall in front of Joel Embiid and his teammates, the Phoenix Suns.

Without Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, the Arizona team sufferd it’s third defeat in the row, with the Sixers winning 112-100 at Wels Fargo Center.

Embiid finished the match with 26 points and 11 rebounds, but without playing in the fourth quarter. He received flagrant 1 for elbowing Jusuf Nurkic in the third period, Sixers pulled away on time, and coach Nick Nurse didn’t bring him back on the field.

Kelly Oubre Jr. with 25 points followed the last season’s MVP, while Tyrese Maxey had a double-double with 22 points and 10 assist, and Tobias Harris with 18 points and 10 boards. Turkish international Furkan Korkmaz had five points, two rebounds and an assist in 17 minutes spent on the floor.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with 31 points and eight boards, but lacked support from his teammates. Eric Gordon had 13 points, while Nurkic was on the verge of a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Drew Eubanks added 10 points.
