Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t have the best start in the game against the Detroit Pistons but played his best when it mattered most, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to another win.

The Greek Freak scored 13 points in the last quarter and led the Bucks, being just an assist shy of a triple-double, to a 135-141 victory, their tenth on the road this season.

Giannis scored 31 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists on 10-16 shooting from the field. He’s leading the league in 30-point games with a 60+ field goal percentage. His performance would’ve been even better if he managed to hit more than 11 free throws out of 22 attempts.

Even though Antetokounmpo had another great game, it was Damian Lillard who led the charge against the Pistons, scoring a season-high 45 points with 11 assists in the Bucks’ 29th victory of the season as they improved to 29-13. He also had six rebounds, hitting five three-pointers and becoming the first player in franchise history to reach those numbers.

Brook Lopez also recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Kris Middleton added 17 points.

On the other side, experienced Croatian forward Bojan Bogdanovic had a great start to the game, entering double figures early on, but finished the match with 19 points. Alec Burks led Detroit with 33 points, while Ausar Thompson added 22 as the Pistons suffered their 38th defeat of the season, boasting only four victories.
