Reflecting on playing for the Miami Heat, Mario Chalmers focused on his relationship with LeBron James, from intense moments as teammates to a current uncertain status.

Discussing with former teammates Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller on the OGs Presented by Playmaker HQ, he opened up on many more topics, including Tristan Thompson calling him out in an appearance on Draymond Green’s podcast.

“Sometimes he texts back, sometimes he does not,” he mentioned about communication with LeBron, “I don’t think there is beef between us. I still have a lot of love for LeBron. He helped me get my championships. That is one of my favorite teammates. I have no beef. I have no disrespect to him.”

Recalling issues between him and the all-time leading scorer of the NBA resurfaced a trigger word for his teammate. “We all know bitch is Bron’s trigger word,” explained Chalmers, “It is my job to get everybody going. So, I did my job, I paid for it because I got benched but I did what I was supposed to do.”

The two-time NBA champion made his case for considering himself among the top shooters in Heat history over Ray Allen and others. “I am outshooting everybody,” highlighted his reaction.

Chalmers, 37, also talked about accepting the conclusion of his NBA career. After his last appearance in the league based in North America in 2018, using overseas options included stints in Italy and Greece.
