Detroit Pistons veteran forward Danilo Gallinari was waived by his new team and his next stop will be the Milwaukee Bucks.

The No. 6 overall pick by the New York Knicks in the 2008 NBA Draft per multiple reports has decided to join the Bucks in hopes of winning a championship title.

Gallinari was a member of the Boston Celtics during the 2022-23 season but missed the entire campaign with a torn ACL. He landed in Boston after the Atlanta Hawks traded him to the San Antonio Spurs during the 2022 offseason in the Dejounte Murray blockbuster. Gallinari was released by San Antonio almost immediately.

Last summer, he ended up with the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal that included the Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies. He was traded to the Pistons on January 14th.

The Bucks will pay him the minimum and will add him to the roster in hopes that he can give them a little extra push towards their quest for a championship title.
