Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard won the 3-point contest of the 2024 All-Star Weekend to claim the title for a second consecutive season.

Lillard registered 26 points in the Final to beat Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns who went 24 and 22 respectively. He became the first player to be crowned 3-point champion since Jason Capono in 2007 and 2008.

All Final participants had 26 points in the first round, the same as Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton. The latter was eliminated in the tiebreaker.

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen posted 25 points in the first round. New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson had 24, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell finished with 21 points and Milwaukee Bucks wing Malik Beasley had 20 points.

Lillard joins Larry Bird, Capono, Craig Hodges, Mark Price and Peja Stojakovic to become the sixth player in NBA history to win the 3-point contest in back-to-back years.
