Vaggelis Mantzaris has a contract with Olympiacos until 2017, however the Memphis Grizzlies have their eyes on him. The Greek guard played in the game against Laboral Kutxa under the eyes of Memphis’ scouts and he admitted that he knows about their interest.
To be exact he confirmed it by speaking to the Greek national television after the game. As he said: “I have heard about it, but this is not on my mind right now. I am a player of Olympiacos and I am concentrated to the goals of my team”. It remains to be seen if this interest while translate during the summer into something bigger.
