Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is expected to sign a two-year, 150 million contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, according to Marc Stein. The 28-year-old guard becomes eligible for the deal on July 6.
In 2024-25 and his 10th season with the Suns, Booker averaged 25.6 points, a career-high 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds. He became the all-time leading scorer for the franchise in February.
Recently, Booker was reported to be involved in the Suns search for a new head coach and had a say in the team ultimately picking Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott for the position.
The Suns are expected to undergo key roster changes and are likely to move on from Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. Booker will likely become the cornerstone around which the new Phoenix team will be built.
