The Chicago Bulls seemed quite fond of the idea of trading Pau Gasol. And there are plenty of reasons for that.
According to Yahoo Sports, Gasol’s club is heavily pushing for this trade, before the deadline on Thursday. Since the Spanish center can opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted agent this summer, trading him seems to be kind of an one-way option for the Bulls.
According to Chicago Tribune “a first-round pick and a rotation player. That’s the asking price, according to league sources, from the Bulls in most of their trade talks as Thursday’s 2 p.m. deadline approaches. The Bulls have been in several discussions, with most talk centered on Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson and Tony Snell, sources said”.
