In the wake of a dominant individual season, Paris star combo guard Nadir Hifi has officially signaled his intent to move to the NBA.
After recently wrapping up the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, the 23-year-old made his ambitions clear following a meteoric rise from the lower divisions of France to the EuroLeague summit. Since joining the Parisian club in 2023, Hifi has transformed into one of the continent’s most lethal scoring threats, averaging 18.9 points and 3.8 assists over the most recent campaign in Europe’s premier club competition.
His trophy cabinet is already well-stocked, featuring a BKT EuroCup title, a Betclic Elite championship, and the prestigious 2024-25 EuroLeague Rising Star award. Despite going undrafted in 2023, his consistent production on the biggest stages in the Old Continent, including his international experience representing France at EuroBasket 2025, has made him a prime candidate for a roster spot in the league based in North America.

“It’s no secret, I feel like I’m ready. I hope I’ll get a chance already this summer. I can no longer enter the draft, but I’m hoping for a contract as a free agent. Not everything is up to me. I can only keep proving my value on the court. I know there is a strong interest in Europe as well, but I am still under contract with Paris. In any case, right now my only option is the NBA,” explained Hifi.
Down the stretch of the 2025-26 schedule, the focus for the Strasbourg native turns to defending the domestic league championship with Paris before considering other career options during the offseason.
