The Milwaukee Bucks are close to hiring Taylor Jenkins as their next head coach, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Jenkins quickly emerged as a top candidate following the team’s split with Doc Rivers at the end of the regular season.
The former Memphis Grizzlies coach, who compiled a 250–214 record since 2019, is known for player development and building competitive systems. Milwaukee had been linked with him even before Rivers’ departure, with multiple meetings taking place in recent days.
Jenkins would take over a team facing uncertainty, particularly around Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future, as the Bucks weigh potential roster changes heading into next season.
