Jack Kayil, a basketball player for ALBA Berlin, has declared for the upcoming NBA Draft, confirmed by journalist Jonathan Givony.
As Givony noted, the news was confirmed by the young player’s agents, Milan Nikolic and Kevin Bradbury, for DraftExpress.
Among the series of players from Europe who have declared for the draft, Kayil has become another one. The German, a former member of Mega and now a point guard for ALBA Berlin, had a great season on both fronts.
Although only 20 years old, Kayil was a key player for the team in the FIBA Basketball Champions League, where ALBA’s participation ended in the Quarterfinals, losing to Unicaja in two close games.
Kayil was in contact with Gonzaga before the season, but it seems that the path to the NBA is likely. However, all options are still open.
