Donte DiVincenzo sustained a torn right Achilles tendon during Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets, dealing a major blow to the Minnesota Timberwolves despite their 110–96 win.
The injury occurred early in the game after a non-contact play, with DiVincenzo going down just over a minute into his appearance. He was later ruled out, and ESPN’s Shams Charania confirmed the diagnosis, which effectively ends his season and sets up a lengthy recovery.
Head coach Chris Finch described the situation as “completely devastating,” highlighting the guard’s importance to the team.
Anthony Edwards also exited before halftime with a leg injury, adding to Minnesota’s concerns despite taking a 3–1 series lead.
