The Atlanta Hawks are already looking to the future. The Georgia team, which finished the regular season with a 46-36 record in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, has secured its head coach for the coming seasons.
According to Shams Charania, the Hawks and Quin Snyder have reached an agreement on a multi-year contract. The former Utah Jazz coach has impressed in his fourth season in Atlanta.
In four seasons in Atlanta, Snyder has led the team to the playoffs twice, losing in the first round both times. This year, they fell to the Knicks.
The Atlanta Hawks, now without Trae Young, face some important seasons ahead. With Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jalen Johnson as their stars, the franchise will have the 8th pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft.
