Sergio de Larrea remains in the 2026 NBA Draft. The Valencia Basket point guard, who has had a great season with Pedro Martínez’s team, has not withdrawn his name from the Draft, which will be held on June 23 and 24, as reported by Jonathan Givony.
Unlike Luigi Suigo, who has withdrawn his name and will go to Villanova to play in the NCAA, de Larrea remains one of the top international players who will enter the Draft. Projected for the late first round or early second round, the young Spanish international, who already played in EuroBasket 2025, will try his luck to see which NBA team selects him. Francesco Ferrari (Virtus, 2005), also withdrew from the 2026 Draft.
Jack Kayil, another big international name after a good season at ALBA Berlin, will ultimately remain in the 2026 Draft and will not play at Gonzaga.
Sergio de Larrea, 21, averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 assists in 31 EuroLeague games, helping his team reach the 2026 Final Four in Athens. His European season ended in the semifinals, where Real Madrid eliminated them.
In the ACB, he has averaged 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 32 games.
