Sandro Mamukelashvili is set to test the NBA free-agent market after declining his $2.8 million player option for the 2026-27 season, according to ESPN.
The 27-year-old Georgian is expected to generate significant interest after the best campaign of his NBA career, averaging career highs of 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 52.3% from the field and 38.9% from three-point range in 80 games for the Toronto Raptors.
Mamukelashvili also made his NBA playoff debut this spring, appearing in all seven first-round games against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A second-round pick by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, Mamukelashvili has also played for the San Antonio Spurs and has appeared in 278 NBA games over five seasons.
This is essentially publication-ready. The only stylistic change I’d definitely make is replacing “Reportedly” with a more direct second sentence.
