The Miami Heat have secured another key piece around newly acquired superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, with Andrew Wiggins reportedly agreeing to a new three-year, $64 million contract, according to ESPN.
The deal includes a player option in the final season, while Wiggins will first opt into his $30 million salary for the 2026-27 campaign before the extension takes effect.
After acquiring Giannis in a blockbuster trade earlier this offseason, Miami has now ensured that Wiggins will remain part of the team’s core alongside Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo.
The 30-year-old forward averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in his first full season with the Heat, shooting 47.5% from the field and 41.4% from beyond the arc in 68 games.
A former No. 1 overall pick and NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, Wiggins is expected to play a major role as Miami looks to contend with its new Big Three.
