Nikola Vucevic will be part of the Orlando Magic next season, having signed a one-year contract worth just under four million dollars.
This information was confirmed on social media by NBA insider Shams Charania.
“Free agent center Nikola Vucevic has agreed on a one-year, $3.9 million deal to return to the Orlando Magic, sources tell ESPN. Vucevic — who started his career in Orlando as a sophomore, spent nearly nine years with the Magic and has maintained a home there since — turned down more lucrative offers elsewhere to reunite with the franchise.”
Vucevic played nine seasons for the Orlando Magic, from 2012 to 2021, before moving to the Chicago Bulls where he played for five years, and he spent the second part of last season with the Boston Celtics.
“Free agent center Ariel Hukporti has agreed to a one-year, $3.4 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Hukporti departs the Knicks after playing a reserve role on their title team, and gives the 76ers frontcourt depth and a high-motor, athletic big man.”
