According to Shams Charania of ESPN, three teams are currently leading among the ten that have made an offer to LeBron.
The Cavs have the lead, as they can sign Bronny, beyond James’ love for his hometown. LeBron’s son was also born in Akron, Ohio. Also in contention is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Miami Heat, and here questions may arise as to whether they can fit with LeBron and Bam Adebayo at the center position.
Also, there i Andrew Wiggins who can, theoretically, start at forward. However, there is a saying that ‘there’s room for everyone good,’ and Lebron would like to return to the only team with which he has won two NBA titles, the first of his career (2012, 2013).
Shams Charania also emphasizes that Giannis wants to play with LeBron, so we can see them together in the same team.
Finally, the Sixers are also there. They were nowhere near James’ mind, until they acquired Jaylen Brown. This move changed everything, as Lebron sees that he can play as a power forward in the same lineup with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and V.J. Edgecombe and compete for the championship together.
