Nikola Kusturica, projected lottery pick in the 2028 NBA draft, posted a picture on Instagram with Giannis Antetokounmpo, with whom he had the opportunity to train in recent days.
“Thank you for the experience. Big player, even bigger person,” Kusturica wrote.
Both had a very turbulent summer. Giannis, after 13 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, changed teams and became a member of the Miami Heat in an NBA blockbuster trade.
On the other hand, Kusturica participated in the U17 World Championship, where he reached the final with Serbia but was defeated by the USA. Nikola, who has since left Barcelona and committed to UCLA, was selected for the tournament’s All-Star Five.
