Victor Wembanyama welcomed seven San Antonio Spurs teammates to France for offseason workouts ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Tobias Harris, Harrison Barnes, Carter Bryant, Stephon Castle, De’Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper and Jordan McLaughlin accepted Wembanyama’s invitation.
“I’m happy to be with you guys here,” Wembanyama told his teammates in a video shared by the Spurs.
The group practiced at the Palais des Sports Maurice Thorez, home of Nanterre 92, where Wembanyama began his basketball journey. The 2026 NBA Defensive Player of the Year previously revealed plans to become an investor and minority shareholder in the French club.
“They want to grow,” Spurs CEO R.C. Buford said per San Antonio Express-News. “Just seeing Victor calling his team and saying, ‘Hey, come over here and spend a week with me.’”
