Free agent guard Bradley Beal has officially re-signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, agreeing to a two-year, $13.2 million contract that includes a player option for the second season, as revealed by ESPN senior NBA insider Shams Charania. The team finalized and announced the deal on Thursday following Beal’s brief stint in unrestricted free agency.
By declining his initial $5.6 million player option, the veteran of 856 NBA games and three-time All-Star granted the Clippers additional financial flexibility to navigate other crucial roster moves this offseason.
The St. Louis native is coming off a challenging year, having missed most of the 2025–26 season following major hip surgery. He remains a key veteran backcourt piece for Los Angeles as he completes his rehabilitation.

Beal, 33, averaged 8.2 points, 1.7 assists and 20.2 minutes in six games (all starts) with the Clippers last season before suffering a season-ending left hip injury on Nov. 8.
A native of St. Louis, Mo., Beal holds career averages of 21.4 points, 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 34.3 minutes in 807 games (758 starts) with Washington, Phoenix and the Clippers. The 14-year NBA veteran is a three-time All-Star (2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21) and is one of just 10 active players to reach 17,000 points and 1,700 three-pointers. Selected third overall by Washington in the 2012 draft, Beal was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2020-21 and the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2012-13.”
