The NBA Paris Game 2027 presented by Tissot and the NBA Manchester Game 2027 are officially sold out, the league announced on Tuesday.
Approximately one million fans registered for tickets, marking the highest demand ever recorded for the league’s European fixtures.
Much of this frenzy centers on Victor Wembanyama. The French superstar will lead the San Antonio Spurs back home during the 2026–27 Regular Season to face the New Orleans Pelicans. These matchups will take place at the Accor Arena in Paris on Thursday, January 14, and at Co-op Live in Manchester on Sunday, January 17.
This brings Wemby and the Spurs back to France, following their games against the Indiana Pacers during the 2024-25 tour. The 22-year-old center has rapidly transitioned from the top draft pick in 2023 and Rookie of the Year into a dominant defensive anchor and global icon, establishing his country as a cornerstone market for European growth. This global expansion continues to bring meaningful regular-season matchups to Europe.
The NBA has steadily increased its footprint across the continent. Last season, fans watched the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies play at Berlin’s Uber Arena and The O2 in London. This momentum will carry forward, with Berlin and Paris already locked in to host games again during the 2027–28 season.
Furthermore, the NBA aims to build a new European competition by the 2027–28 season, widely referred to as NBA Europe and backed by FIBA, promising additional announcements in the coming weeks.
