The Chicago Bulls are trading Rob Dillingham to the Charlotte Hornets for Buddy Hield and cash, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Dillingham was selected eighth overall by San Antonio in the 2024 NBA Draft and immediately traded to Minnesota. The 21-year-old guard joined Chicago in February after the Bulls sent Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Phillips to the Timberwolves.
Hield leaves Charlotte only four days after arriving from Atlanta in the Dorian Finney-Smith trade.
The 33-year-old was the sixth pick in the 2016 draft and has played for seven NBA teams, establishing himself as one of the league’s most prolific three-point shooters. He also won the Three-Point Contest in 2020.
