The Denver Nuggets have announced the signing of Ryan Nembhard to a two-way contract. In a corresponding move, the team requested waivers on two-way guard KJ Simpson.
Nembhard appeared in 60 games for Dallas last season, including 27 starts, averaging 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 19.5 minutes per game.
The 23-year-old recorded four double-doubles and six games with at least 10 assists. He scored a career-high 28 points alongside 10 assists against Denver on December 1, before handing out 23 assists against Chicago on April 12, becoming the 24th player in NBA history to reach that mark.
The Ontario native went undrafted in 2025 after spending two seasons at Creighton and two at Gonzaga. He was named Big East Rookie of the Year in 2022.
Nembhard will wear No. 9 for the Nuggets.
