The San Antonio Spurs evened their 2026–27 NBA Regular Season record at 2–2 on Tuesday night, cruising past the Sacramento Kings 130–103 at the Frost Bank Center.

Victor Wembanyama ignited the home crowd immediately. The French star fueled a dominant opening quarter with a flurry of dunks, setting the tone for the entire evening. He completely dominated the floor, finishing with 29 points on 14-of-21 shooting, ten rebounds, five blocks, two steals, and two assists in just 26 minutes of work.

“We took advantage,” replied the 22-year-old center when asked after the game if the early lobs were a concerted strategy or a byproduct of the defense, crediting offensive adaptability. “We always try to do it because it’s the most efficient shot in the game.”

“The strength of our team is as an opponent, you have to take care of multiple threats,” he added. “There’s always something open. And this time the lob was open early, and that opened up stuff for my teammates later on.”

While San Antonio celebrated a balanced victory, Sacramento plummeted to 0–4. The visitors once more relied heavily on Domantas Sabonis. The Lithuanian starter flirted with a triple-double, logging 20 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists.

Israeli reserve Emanuel Sharp tallied five points, while Ukrainian-Belarusian Alex Karaban chipped in one rebound and an assist. Meanwhile, French Maxime Raynaud remained sidelined with a right patella injury and will miss at least two more weeks.

Spurs players must move on quickly. They travel to Salt Lake City tonight to complete a back-to-back against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. On the other side, the Kings search for their first win Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center.
