The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that Russell Westbrook’s No. 0 jersey will be retired on February 7, when the team hosts the New York Knicks at Paycom Center.

Westbrook, who retired in August after 18 NBA seasons, spent 11 years with the franchise. His number will become the second retired by the Thunder.

The former guard remains Oklahoma City’s all-time leader in points, rebounds, assists, steals and games played. He helped the Thunder reach the 2012 NBA Finals and four Western Conference Finals during his tenure.

Westbrook won the 2016–17 NBA MVP award after averaging 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists. He recorded an NBA-record 42 triple-doubles that season and finished his career with a record 209.

“Russell Westbrook’s legacy was built both on the court and in the community,” Thunder general manager Sam Presti said. “His mindset was relentless, his commitment deep.”
