Patty Mills is someone who has made a significant impact in every league and competition he has participated in.
Leading Australia, he had several historic matches at the FIBA World Cup, and while playing in the NBA, specifically for the San Antonio Spurs from 2012 to 2021, Mills won an NBA championship ring.
Since last season, he has been playing in Europe, first for Tenerife and then for ASVEL, marking his first time playing in the EuroLeague.
Mills recently spoke about the differences between these two competitions for “Mozzart Sport”.
“Honestly, those two things (EuroLeague and the NBA) cannot be compared at all. When you analyze things deeply, it seems like they are completely different sports. As for me, playing for the national team for many years has prepared me well. There were appearances in FIBA competitions.
All of that prepared me to some extent for this trial, pressure, and rules, but playing in the EuroLeague is a completely new experience. I have always wanted to experience the EuroLeague and everything that comes with it. I’m enjoying every part of it.”
