For the second time while in San Antonio, Ettore Messina will act as a head coach in light of the absence of Gregg Popovich because of a personal family matter.
Messina will be the acting head coach of the Spurs in the games against Indiana Pacers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. He had undertook this role for the first time, during the 2014/2015 season.
Popovich will miss next 2 games because of a family medical situation, per team spokesman. #Spurs
