The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to acquire Taj Gibson in a deal with the Chicago Bulls, league sources told The Vertical.

The Bulls also are sending Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick to the Thunder in exchange for Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow.

While Gibson is the center-piece of the deal, this is also a very interesting move for Lauvergne who has been already a member of the Nuggets, the Thunder and now he is going to Chicago, a team in which an other French big man, Joakim Noah made his name.

The 25 years old Lauvergne left Europe in 2015 after playing for Elan Chalon, Valencia, Partizan and Khimki.
