Big Sofo made it to the NBA. At least according to the stats sheet!

The statistics services of ESPN.com are undeniably awesome. But even the best might not be 100% goof-free sometimes.

If someone took a peek at the boxscore of last night’s (3/3) game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks (the Sixers won 105 – 102 behind Dario Saric’s 21 points/10 rebounds) he/she’d find out that the winning squad added a player under… total secrecy.

And this player is no other than 2014 EuroLeague champion Sofoklis Schortsanitis. To be honest, we didn’t even know when the Sixers acquired the Greek center’s rights from the Oklahoma City Thunder… not to mention signing him.

Anyway, with Shaq retired, it’s great to see that “Baby Shaq” found his way to the best league in the planet.

Apparently Schortsanitis didn’t only appear on the roster of the 76ers but also spent four minutes on the floor, as NBA.COM (!) wrote. Didn’t do anything more than collecting a rebound though. Tough.
