The top performance of Giorgos Papagiannis in the NBA so far arrived tonight, but it wasn’t combined with a win for the Kings vs the Thunder.

Greek center Giorgos Papagiannis posted his first double-double in NBA tonight with career-highs in points and rebounds during Sacramento Kings 94 – 110 loss by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 19-year-old rookie came off the bench to score 14 points and grab 11 rebounds (both team-highs) in just 22 minutes he stayed on the floor. His team couldn’t withstand the near triple-double of 28 points/10 assists/8 rebounds by Russell Westbrook and fell to a 27 – 42 record.

Papagiannis’ performance wasn’t short of highlights. Like this for example…

Enes Kanter scored 14 points and 4 rebounds while Domantas Sabonis had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Alex Abrines finished with 2 points.

For the Kings, Kostas Koufos had 9 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
